ReflectionsI learned may years ago that if I wanted people to write reflectively, rather than for "teacher as examiner", I had to participate in keeping a journal and sharing excerpts from it with a class. There was a side benefit, I quickly discovered—my thoughts about learning and teaching were clarified, and it became possible to open my head to students, allowing them access to my decision-making about our collaborative investigation. I continue that tradition here. As they are witten I will publish my reflections here for you to read. I will notify you via the Yahoo Group when I've added a new reflection to the collection. |
