Description of LZ: Economy Mountain LZ
The LZ for Paragliders is in a fairly large opening in the trees out in fron of launch. It is slightly tipped down hill and the trees at the down hill edge are small giving little mechanical turbulance provided the wind is from the east. If there is too much south in it then the larger trees to on the south side of the lz give off a fair bit of turbulance. If the pilot is even 50' over before going to land then it is possible to make the cultivated fields in front.Hang gliders can easily make the fields in front bordering the shore.
Please take note if the lz is in crop. Do not land there if that is the case. There are probably alternatives.
